Terms

You keep all rights to the audio you upload. You give RateMyMix a limited license to store it, transcode it, analyse it and stream it to other members for the purpose of critique (and publicly, only if you opt in to showing it after it closes). We never offer your original file for download. You can delete a track or your account at any time.

You confirm you made the audio or have permission to share it. If you post something you don't have rights to, we'll take it down and may remove your account.

You keep ownership of what you write, and let us display it to the artist and, after a public track closes, to everyone. Follow the community guidelines. We may hold, remove or reverse credits for critiques that break them.

Credits are earned by critiquing and spent on posting. They have no cash value, can't be bought, sold or transferred, and may be adjusted to correct errors or abuse. We can change the credit rules; changes apply going forward.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.

Engineers set their own price and turnaround. Your payment is held until the critique is delivered. If it isn't delivered on time, you're refunded automatically. You have 72 hours after delivery to raise a problem before the engineer is paid; disputes are reviewed by our team, whose decision is final. RateMyMix keeps a platform fee (currently 25%). Engineers are independent sellers who aren't employed by RateMyMix. They're paid through Stripe Connect under Stripe's terms.

We respond to notices under the DMCA. See the DMCA page for how to file a notice or counter-notice. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months. We can suspend accounts that break these terms. These terms are governed by the laws where the operator is established.
